Last weekend I finally had a chance to go with Logan to see the Pheasant farm. I hadn’t been there in months and I was excited to see how big and beautiful the pheasants had grown. The roosters are so pretty, I really wanted to bring one home with me just to look at. I am always amazed at how quickly a bird matures and changes.
They started out the size of an adult male thumb at 1 day old…

After a few weeks they were about the size of my hand….

Now, at approximately 6 months they are full grown and beautiful!

A picture doesn’t do this bird much justice. The intricate details of his feather pattern and the vast difference in texture from one type of feather to the next are truly incredible. I wish I would have taken more pictures, maybe next time!
