My mother gave this book to my oldest daughter on Valentines day one year. All of my kids have loved it and beg me to read it again and again. This has been the first book they enjoy having read word for word when they are still in the ‘point to pictures and give it a name’ stage. The verse is written so well and flows so easily. Sometimes it actually gets stuck in my head as if it were a song! If you are looking for a book for an 18-24 month old toddler this is a great option! Even my 6 year old comes running when she hears me reading.
I also love the pictures! They are very clean looking and easy for young eyes to understand.
