True to the expectation of a Dan Brown novel, Inferno was interesting and kept you on the edge of your seat. Although Inferno doesn’t compare to Angels and Demons or the Da Vinci Code it is packed full of history, art, architecture, psychology, world issues, technology and romance. I closed the book pondering my own beliefs concerning overpopulation and biological warfare.
The fourth book in the Robert Langdon series, Inferno takes place in the time frame of approximately 24 hours. This fast pace holds strong as the good guys chase the bad guys then the bad guys become the good guys and the good guys turn out to be the bad ones; leaving the reader in a constant state of confusion, wonder, and doubt.
If you have enjoyed other Robert Langdon adventures read Inferno. You are sure to feel a bit of shock, disgust, and perhaps even a bit of anger and fear.

“Denial is a critical part of the human coping mechanism. Without it, we would all wake up terrified every morning about all the ways we could die. Instead, our minds block out our existential fears by focusing on stresses we can handle—like getting to work on time or paying our taxes.”
