The kids busied themselves with a mud hole, making it bigger and muddier by the minute. Project ‘mud’ lead to project ‘play in the water’; but as I mentioned, it wasn’t a warm day. C7 was more persistant than the other kids, and rather than give up he adapted by filling the feed bucket with hot water. He was quite content sitting in his “hot tub” all afternoon.
