About 6 months ago I stumbled upon a fantastic scrapbook paper sale; after leaving the warehouse I had 10 lbs of new paper to be organized.
My old system of organization involved a bin to hold 8.5×11 card stock, sorted by color. My collection of 12×12 cardstock AND printed paper was stored in vertical paper sorters, also divided by color.

My original intentions were to purchase more of the same vertical sorters that I already had but I when my order arrived they were not the same. At first I was a little discouraged; I wanted everything to match! But sometimes adjustments are necessary. I now have all cardstock in the black paper holders and all printed paper in the clear paper holders. I always organize my colors to a song I learned as a child;
Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue.
I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too.

I feel like a new woman having all of my paper organized, now if only I could find some time to actually scrapbook!!
