Somewhere Over the Rainbow

As I was reorganizing my digital pictures today I found this photograph of a rainbow taken from my back porch in June 2009. Not only does the sky look beautiful but I love seeing how much my yard has changed. Two years of perennial growth has made everything look much less bare! My trumpet vine is now well over the arbor, the shrubs along the fence are 4-5 feet tall, and the wall near the swing is lined with raspberries (non-producing raspberries, but raspberries all the same).  My neighbor also has a tall, beautiful shade tree, which makes my current view much appealing! If only our hard work was always so evident!
