2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar | 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar |
3 tsp Vanilla, divided | 1/3 Cup Flour |
8 Eggs | 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon |
2 1/4 Cups Milk | 6 Tbsp Butter |
3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon | Syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, etc *optional |
Spray a 9×13 pan with nonstick spray. Cut bread into 1 inch cubes, spread half of the cubes into the prepared baking pan. Place cream cheese in a medium bowl and mix with a mixer until smooth. Add powdered sugar and 1/4 tsp vanilla and mix until combined. Drop random spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture on top of the bread. Layer remaining bread cubes on top of cream cheese and set aside.
Whisk the eggs, milk, cinnamon, brown sugar and remaining vanilla together until smooth. Pour over bread. Cover pan tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for three hours or overnight.
Preheat oven to 350. Remove pan from refrigerator.
Prepare topping by whisking brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together in a medium bowl. Cut in the cubed butter with a pastry blender or two forks. Sprinkle topping over soaked bread.
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until golden brown on top.
