Preheat oven to 400. Cover a large baking sheet with foil. Arrange asparagus on prepared sheet in a single layer and coat with cooking spray (or drizzle with olive oil). Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Roast for 10 minutes, the sprinkle the almonds over asparagus and continue to roast about 5 minutes until tender.
