3/4 C Butter | 1 tsp Vanilla |
3/4 C Brown Sugar | 1 1/2 C Flour |
3/4 C Sugar | 1 1/2 C Oats |
1 3/4 C Peanut Butter, divided | 1 tsp. Baking Soda |
2 Eggs | 1/2 tsp Salt |
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream together butter, brown sugar, sugar, 3/4 cup peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, oats, soda and salt. Press into ungreased jellyroll pan.
Bake for 12-15 minutes and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Spread remaining 1 cup of peanut butter over baked bars.
Chocolate Frosting
3 Cups Powder Sugar | 1/4 Cup Cocoa |
1/2 Cup Butter | 1 tsp. Vanilla |
1/4 Cup Milk |
Mix up chocolate frosting by melting butter in a small saucepan. Stir in cocoa and milk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla, then stir in powdered sugar until well combined. (if needed add a tablespoon of hot water to thin.)
Immediately pour chocolate frosting over peanutbutter bars and spread evenly.
