(serve with cheese quesadillas)
1 lb. hamburger browned and drained
1 1/3 Cups potatoes, cubed 2 carrots, sliced or baby carrot 2 T. parsley ½ cup celery ¾ tsp. sugar Big can diced tomatoes 1 ½ onions or dried to your liking |
1 lg bay leaf
1 clove garlic ¾ T. Worcestershire 1 qt. water ¾ tsp. allspice 2 ½ salt ¼ cup barley 1/8 pepper |
Combine all ingredients and simmer until tender (I put it in the crook pot in the morning on low, makes it quick and easy).
Serve with a spoonfull of sour cream
