8 Must Know Christmas Decorating Tips
1- Set aside 5-7 large ornaments when decorating your Christmas tree. Wait a day or two then add the saved ornaments to your tree in the evening when it is dark outside. Waiting a few days will give you the opportunity to notice places on your tree that you don’t particularly like (don’t be afraid to move things around a bit). Redecorating in the dark, with only the Christmas tree lights on, will help you to see the darkest (therefore the most bare) parts of the tree.

2- Buy a premade Christmas bow (or make your own), attach a long piece of coordinating ribbon and hang on the wall for an almost instant card holder.

3- Use metal clips to attach lightweight Christmas ornaments to the tree. The clips give you the freedom to put bows, flowers, etc. almost ANYWHERE, even on a real tree that has flimsy branches.

4- Roughly cut a large piece of burlap to put under your nativity scene. Or, use garland, lights and bright red poinsettias to showcase the stable in Bethlehem.

7- Even a simple premade bow mixed with a bit of curling ribbon will do wonders to jazz up a present.

8- Pay attention to the floor around the Christmas tree. Add something big and bulky to help connect the tree to the rest of the room (Especially if your tree has a large space between the floor and the bottom branch). Try a large snowman, a Santa Clause, some reindeer, a small forest of trees, or beautifully wrapped boxes.
