| 4 Tbs. Yeast | 2 Tbs. Salt |
| 1 c. Warm Water | 4 Beaten Eggs |
Combine:
| 3 c. Hot Scalded Milk | 1/2 c. Sugar |
| 3/4 c. Shortening |
Gradually add:
| 10-12 c. Flour |
Place in greased bowl. Rise to double. Form in 6-8 in. strips 1/2 in. thick. Dip in butter, cinnamon sugar mix, press into dough and wind in coil. Let rise. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes, cool slightly then drizzle with glaze.
Glaze:
| 1/2 c. Powdered Sugar | 2 Tbs. Milk |
Cinnamon Topping:
| 3 c. Sugar | 8 tsp. Cinnamon |
| 2 c. Brown Sugar | 3 c. Chopped Nuts |
