1 pkg. Devils Food Cake Mix | 14 oz. Flaked Coconut |
1 12oz. can Evaporated Milk | 1/4 c. Butter |
1 Cup Sugar | 1 1/2 Cups Semisweet Choc. Chips |
24 large Marshmallows | 3oz. slivered Almonds |
Prepare cake mix for 9×13 pan. In a saucepan, combine 1 Cup evaporated milk and 1 cup sugar. Bring to a rapid boil. Quickly remove from heat. Add marshmallows, stir till melted. Stir in Coconut.
Pour mixture over warm cake. In saucepan combine remaining milk and butter. Bring to boil. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted. Pour over coconut-topped cake. Sprinkle with almonds.
Chill cake at least 2 hours before serving. Cake tastes better if baked the day before. Makes 12-14 servings.
