(serve with fried eggs)
1 1/2 Cups Milk | 1 tsp Baking Soda |
1/4 Cup Vinegar | 3/4 tsp Salt |
2 Cups Flour | 2 Eggs |
1/4 Cup Sugar | 1/4 Cup Butter, melted |
2 tsp Baking Powder |
Add vinegar to milk and allow to sit for 5 minutes (this will sour the milk which replaces the buttermilk in most pancake recipes).
Combine flour, sugar, powder, soda and salt in a large bowl.
Add eggs and butter to sour milk, wisk well.
Pour flour mixture into milk mixture and wisk until smooth.
Cook on a heated skillet, flipping once, until no longer doughy.
