1 2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar | 1 1/3 Cup Flour |
3/4 Cup Butter, melted | 3/4 Cup Baking Cocoa |
2 Tbsp Water | 1/2 tsp Baking Powder |
2 Large Eggs | 1/4 tsp Salt |
2 tsp Vanilla | 3/4 Cup Chopped Nuts (optional) |
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9×13 glass pan.
Combine sugar, butter and water in a large bowl. Stir in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add to sugar mixture. Fold in nuts and spread batter into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 18 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean but sligtly sticky.
