| Oatmeal | Wet Ingredients | Dry Ingredients |
| 1 1/4 Cup Boiling Water | 1/2 Cup Butter | 1 1/2 Cups Flour |
| 1 Cup Oatmeal | 1 Cup Sugar | 1 tsp Soda |
| 1 Cup Brown Sugar | 1/2 tsp Salt | |
| 1 tsp Vanilla | 3/4 tsp Cinnamon | |
| 2 Eggs |
Preheat oven to 350.
Combine ‘oatmeal’ ingredients and let set.
Cream together ‘wet ingredients’.
Stir together ‘dry ingredients’
Grease and flour a 9×13 pan. Combine all three mixtures together and pour into greased pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Meanwhile make frosting:
| 1/2 Cup Butter | 1 Cup Pecans, chopped |
| 1 Cup Brown Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup Coconut |
| 5 Tbsp Milk |
Combine first three frosting ingredients in a small sauce pan over medium heat until butter melts. Remove from heat and add nuts and coconut. Spread over warm oatmeal cake.
