Adapted from a Real Mom Kitchen Recipe
(Serve with hard rolls and hot apple cider)
1 Onion, chopped | 1 Can Water |
2 Cups Potatoes, chopped | 1 tsp Salt |
2 Cups Celery, chopped | 1/2 tsp Pepper |
2 Cups Carrots, chopped | 1 Tbsp Sugar |
1 Can Tomato Soup | 2 Tbsp Rice, uncooked |
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup | 1 lb Hamburger |
Preheat oven to 325. Add chopped vegetables to a large roasting pan. Combine soups, water, rice, and spices; mix well. Pour soup mixture over vegetables. Break up raw hamburger and sprinkle on top of vegetables. cover and bake for 3-5 hours, stirring occasionally. Add more water if too thick.
