Peach Wontons
I have always had a weakness for cream cheese wontons. I hate going to Chinese buffets because the only thing I’m really tempted to eat is the deep fried cream cheese! After making wontons to go with dinner a few days ago I had a half a package of wrappers left and wondered what to do with them. I decided to make peach wontons for dessert.
With only three simple ingredients we enjoyed a surprisingly quick after dinner treat!
Peach Pie Filling |
Wonton Wrappers |
Cream Cheese, softened |
Vegetable Oil for Frying |
Powdered Sugar (optional) |

Gently mix softened cream cheese with peach pie filling. Fill wonton wrappers and seal. Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown, turning once. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and servewarm.
