Have you ever been going about your day, minding your own business, when you suddenly remember you forgot to take the pork chops out of the freezer for dinner? No more need to worry. Get the frozen meat out, completely unpackage it and place it on a metal surface (cookie sheets work great!). The metal will make the meat thaw out SOO fast. I wont pretend to understand the science behind this but I do know that metal is a good conductor of heat and this little trick works great!
These two packages of steaks were taken out of the freezer and placed on the kitchen counter at the same time.
