(Serve in Bread Bowls)
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 lb. hamburger
3 cans diced tomatoes
3 cans of beans (your choice, I use 2 chili beans and 1 black bean)

½ cup brown sugar
1 small bottle ketchup
3 anaheim peppers, cut in half and seeded
2 jalapeno peppers, cut in half and seeded

In a large skillet sauté green pepper, onion, and celery. Add hamburger and brown. Drain fat. Add to crockpot. Add canned tomatoes, and beans. Stir. Add ketchup and brown sugar. Stir well. Add peppers and stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until heated through. If there are leftovers I recommend removing peppers from chili before storing because the longer the peppers stay in chili the more heat!
