4 Strips Bacon | 2 oz Blue Cheese Crumbles |
1 Sweet Onion | 1 Cup Half and Half |
6 Oz Dry Elbow Macaroni | 1/8 tsp Black Pepper |
2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded |
Preheat oven to 350. In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender and golden brown. Set aside. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain; place in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Add bacon, onion, 1 1/2 Cups Mozzarell cheese, blue cheese, half and half, and pepper.Toss gently to combine. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir gently. Top with remaining cheese, bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. (Omit blue cheese for picky eaters… still yummy)
