Food Chopper

I love kitchen gadgets! I could wander around a nice kitchen store for hours just looking at all the cool little devices people have come up with to make our lives in the kitchen a bit easier. It never ceases to amaze me how many little tools have been created to replace the good ole’ fashion knife. Things like a strawberry huller, an egg slicer, or even a tomato/mozzarella cheese slicer. In my kitchen I have found that many times it is more effort than it is worth to find a special gadget, assemble it, disassemble it, wash it, and put it away. The knife is much easier to work with. However, this food chopper is the exception! I LOVE this thing! Every kitchen should have one of these food choppers! I can chop, (in identical sizes) tomatoes, onions, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, and just about anything else in minutes! Homemade soup is SOUPer quick, and chopping anything in large quantities is a breeze! This is one of a handful of kitchen gadgets I can NOT live without. Christmas is coming and this food chopper would make a great gift for any wife who dreads chopping vegetables for dinner. I bought my food chopper at Williams and Sonoma for $39.95.
