Pear Jam
| 3 Cups Puréed Pears | 1 Package Powder Pectin |
| 1 ½ Cups Puréed Pineapple | 6 Cups Sugar |
| 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice |
1- Peel, core, and slice pears.
2- Remove all dark spots.
3- Mix chopped pears and pineapple (I used about ½ of a 20oz can) in a blender until desired consistency.
4- Combine pear mixture, lemon juice, and pectin in a sauce pan over high heat. Bring to a rolling boil.
5- Add sugar quickly and return to a boil. Boil for 1 minute.
6- Ladle into sterile jars, secure lids, and process in a boiling water canner for 10 minutes.

Because I was in a hurry I used my apple slicer. However, pears are, well, shaped like pears so there is a lot of delicious waste around the core. When no one was looking I quickly stuck the core in my mouth and ate the good stuff!
